Round two of caricatures for hotel guests at the Baltimore Hilton. This time Laura drew caricatures of guests in the uniform of their favorite football team. Here’s one:

Laura was recently contracted to draw a series of gift caricatures for guests staying at the Baltimore Hilton Hotel. There were 16 total, hand-drawn and colored in photoshop. Here are a few.

This is caricature Laura did recently of a couple celebrating an anniversary. Drawn by hand and colored in Photoshop.

This was an unusual request. I drove out to a client’s home in Clifton, Virginia, where she requested that I draw a caricature of “Tom” (from a photo) who was retiring from government service. She video-taped while I was drawing with her iphone. The video would be part of the retirement celebration. I then took the drawing home and colored on photoshop and then emailed the final high-resolution JPG to her to give to Tom as a gift.

This is a recent caricature I did through one of my long-time agents, About Faces Entertainers.

A mother wanted a caricature of her son and some friends he had grown up. She was pretty pleased with it in the end, saying, “IT IS ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Since the final was a digital JPEG, the client was able to print it out multiple times and give a print as a gift to all of the friends in the drawing.

Drawn by hand, scanned and colored in photoshop.

This was a caricature that was given to an executive, Linda, who was leaving her company. The drawing not only captured some details about her – like her fashion sense – it also included some of her former staff who were staying behind in the background.

Gift caricatures make a unique and memorable, one-of-a-kind gift.
